Who we are
Buzz Design is an owner-led creative agency based in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. We’ve been helping businesses communicate better since 1991 through web design, graphic design, logo design, and digital marketing that is always straightforward, always strategic, and always built around what the client actually needs.
We started with a simple belief: great design and smart marketing shouldn’t be the exclusive territory of businesses with large agency budgets. Over 35 years later, that belief still drives everything we do.
In that time, we’ve completed more than 5,000 projects for hundreds of clients across an enormous range of sectors, from local tradespeople and family-run businesses to organisations operating nationally and internationally. Many of those clients have stayed with us for years. A significant number of our new clients come to us through direct recommendations from people we already work with. To us, that matters more than any award.
Meet Peter Skitt, Creative Director
Peter Skitt founded Buzz Design in 1991 and has worked in design and marketing since 1980. He leads every client relationship personally and is involved in every project that leaves the studio.
That’s not a pitch, it’s simply how Buzz Design works. Clients don’t get handed off to a junior team after the first meeting. They work directly with Peter and the people producing their work.
Peter’s background spans B2B and B2C work across dozens of sectors, including medical and regulatory, engineering, logistics, food and drink, professional services, childcare, construction, and financial services. He has a particular strength in taking complex or technical briefs and finding ways to communicate them clearly to the audiences that matter.
Where We Work
Our studio is at Hare Park House, Hare Park Lane, Liversedge, WF15 8EW just a few miles from Huddersfield in the heart of West Yorkshire.
We work regularly with businesses across the local area, including Huddersfield, Brighouse, Cleckheaton, Dewsbury, Batley, Birstall, and Mirfield. We also work with clients across Merseyside, including Maghull and Skelmersdale.
Distance has never been a barrier. We’ve worked with clients across the UK and internationally, including in Europe, the United States, and Japan.
Our Approach
We keep things simple. Not because the work is easy but because simplicity is almost always the answer. Every brief gets taken seriously, regardless of size. Every project is led by Peter personally. Every piece of work that leaves the studio is measured against one question: does it do what it needs to do for this client’s business?
We don’t use jargon. We don’t waffle. We don’t produce work that looks impressive in a presentation but doesn’t function in the real world. And we don’t disappear after the project is signed off, with many of our client relationships have run for a decade or more.
